No Contest

For some reason God decided to send us the most beautiful babies. And it is pure objectivity in that remark. And don't anybody dare say anything about lack of hair. Ha! Elina was equally bald, and just look at her now. One question: why are they in such a hurry to grow up??

I have pictures like this of the two others as well, but on film. I have not yet transferred them to digital format.

Can You Spell Insanity?

I just finished a paper - many to go. I am taking 6 credit hours in 8 weeks, online. I always thought online classes were easier - until now. Ha! This was sort of planned, as I am embarking on my Master's Degree. What was not planned was Mark having to work 16 hour days, AND Saturdays and Sundays, for precisely these 8 weeks. This has gone on for 2 weeks now. I am feeling it. This morning I put Isak and Elina in charge of the overflowing sink. They did a good job, though the floor was wetter than the sink when it was done.

All in all, it is going pretty well here on the homefront. I don't do any school work until the kids are in bed, which would be fine if it were not for the interrupted night's sleep I experience once I am IN bed. We miss Mark, of course. And he us. And working so much is hard on him, of course. But it is only for 6 more weeks. We have handled worse, I think. Anyone who has been through an extended and invasive construction project (that was not outsourced) can look plenty of other situations in the eye with a smile and say: you're not as bad as the house-add-on and complete interior and exterior remodel, while raising pre-schooler and toddler.
