Isak and all the 3rd graders at his school presented "A Neverland Tale" today, a day performance and an evening one. Unfortunately my camera is dying. It works intermittently but today it sealed its fate. It must be replaced soon. Right when Isak was doing his spoken part, that he knew so well and articulated and projected so skillfully the camera gave me its "lens error" message. A girl in his class, another narrator, was absent for the evening performance and Isak was selected to replace her because he knew her part by heart. (He later told me he knew pretty much everyone's parts! The complete understudy?) He did very well for both, but I have no footage. Still, here are two clips that I DO have, and I am thankful for that. Mrs. Tune (the music teacher - and yes, that is her actual name) does a wonderful job. This program was fairly long with lots of actors, narrators (Isak was one) and kids playing instruments. She put this whole thing together in just over three weeks!! Isak says she is very strict, but the kids love her.

In this one, below, Isak is on the back row to the left of the pirate flags. Unfortunately, the back row kids did not receive very good stage lighting (but it is an Elementary school after all).
