Isaks fotbollsmatch - åskådarna

Oklahoma hade köldrekord lördagen den 6 oktober. Det hade inte varit så kallt sen 1934! Isak hade fotbollsmatch och åskådarna frös som Greenbay Packer fans.

This year I had 3 runners in the Jog-A-Thon - the huge annual fundraiser at the kids' school. It is a really fun event and we look forward to it each year. They have a DJ and really loud music playing to keep kids moving and they all wear anklets that track how many laps they run.

Elina had an asthma attack 5 laps into her race, and along with JK (friend in the picture) who also had an asthma attack, spent the rest of the time in the office! At least she was not alone!

I was amazed at how fast and with how much endurance our 5 year-old ran!

Isak set a personal record on number of laps. He ran hard.

And was ready to spend some cash on snacks and drinks afterwards!

Circus 2012

We love the circus. To me, it is the epitome of live entertainment. The perfect splendor and sadness combined. The marriage of a tragic (?) lifestyle with glamour for one night. Definitely two sides to this sword. Enchanting.

The midway opens before the performance, of course, and the kids rode the train.

As mid-September rolls around we breathe a sigh of relief that we survived yet another blistering summer!

Here are the kids at the duck pond.

And here they are in Oklahoma City at cousins Sebastian's and Liam's combined 4th and 6th birthday party. This picture was taken shortly before the trampoline broke and a kid (not one of ours) flew through it down on the ground. Not hurt, thankfully!
