December Piano Recital 2014

 All the 5th graders in Norman gathered for a concert at OUs Lloyd Noble Center.
Elina sat right under the A in Lakeview.
They hung the banners way too low this year. 

Thanksgiving break 2014

 We went to Dallas and hung out with Jim and his kids for a few days.
Eliot came with us to IKEA while Isak stayed behind and played with Merritt.

 Later that week, Jim and the kids came up and stayed with us,
but for Thanksgiving day itself we were alone.
It was the simplest of all Thanksgiving dinners,
but everyone was happy.

 We also went to the zoo. Actually, Isak stayed home because he is cool like that.
But the girls and I went.

 Julia gjorde sig redo för att äta.

Så var det alltså 18 år sen jag fyllde 20 i Madrid. 

Halloween 2014

 Detta togs innan Trunk or Treat at the Balkmans, som vi åker till varje år.
Isak säger att detta är det sista året som han klär ut sig.
Han föreställer Draco Malfoy från Harry Potter.

 Anja på hennes klassparty.
Jag kan ju inte gå på alla klasspartyn längre nu när jag jobbar, men detta kunde jag faktsitkt åka till.

 Anja glömde hennes "krona" på bussen och den hittades aldrig.
Snälla Julia valde att inte ha på sig sin krona på själva Trick och Treatingen
så att Anja inte skulle vara ledsen.

Anja 2nd grade music program

My camera was losing its zoom and focusing function, unfortunately.
But I got a new camera for Christmas. 

 Anja's 2nd grade program was in October and she did a great job!

Fall activities (2014)

 Isak played a season of flag football and really liked it.

 The weather was warm enough to swim until October, as usual.

 And when they were not in school, they spent most of their time PLAYING school.
I spent zero time directing this.
It was 100% girl driven.
Sometimes they are teachers, sometimes they are students.

 Every classroom has learning goals posted on the board.
Anja's classroom is no different.
