Labor Day Road Trip

This year the kids got the Friday off before Labor Day weekend. So as soon as school got out on Thursday we hit the road and were not back again until 11 pm Monday night. We visited Kansas, Missouri, Illinois and Iowa and packed the days full of good memories. We had fabulous friends host us in Wichita, Kansas and Columbia, Missouri. Here are some pictures which do not cover all our adventures, but a few:

Anja in front of the Nauvoo, Illinois Temple. (I think she likes it.)

Family picture on the steps of the Nauvoo Temple.

Sibling love in front of the Nauvoo Temple doors.

Carthage jail.

The actual door and hole from the 1844 bullet that killed Hyrum Smith.

Elina riding in Columbia, Missouri.
(She lost one of her front teeth on the trip)

Isak showed some horse riding talent.

Anja did not get to ride enough, she claimed...

Mamma got to ride the most.
Tamee took me out on an awesome ride over the Missouri hills.
And that little Arabian can run.
